Avoid Made in China painted on leather
"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat." Havertys sells cheap Made in China leather. Paint comes off after sitting on it less than a year.
They are living of the reputation they once had years ago. Different type of management last 4 years. Pressure sakes with store managers standing behind sales people pushing them to close sales. Not a comfortable environment for shoppers and can see why our past 2 salespeople left.
You ask what is our aim?
We can all answer in one word: Victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all the intimidation and misrepresentation. Victory however long and hard the road may be.
For without victory there is no survival for the righteous.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

Haverys Guardsman Protection Insurance is a SCAM. The only way to get them to do anything is use permanent magic markers on the sofa and say your kids did it while you were out of the room.
Tell the Guardsman rep it just happened today. Not last week or beyond. If the Guardsman service tech doesn't find a resolution you are satisfied with then Call Haverty's corporate office in Atlanta. Tell them to stand behind their defective product and plan you paid good money for.
We did and we got a reselection as they call it for a new sofa. We did not buy the Guardian plan again and will call their corporate office if we have any problem with the new sofa.
Havertys management instructs their salespeople and office staff to post good reviews online. They threaten employees that if they don't do it they could be written up and looking for a job somewhere else.
What a bunch of crooks. Their Guardsman plan is a rip off and consumers are naive believing all the hype that it can work in their favor.
Only if they use permanent markers and say the kids did an art project then it works. Read the small print folks and dont be so naive to buy the plan and cancer causing products.
Not trying to be funny but Havertys management needs to be replaced as a whole.
Salespeople put in alot of time and effort to close a sale. Sometimes visit customers home with a HDesigher and make an apoontment for them to come back so you can try to sell them more stuff to keep managers happy.
You close the customer and celebrate your hard work only to find out the delivery went bad because the warehouse intentionally messed up or broke the furniture and forgot to load the hardware . Guess what? Customer cancelled. No commision.
For that sale Not have so many unattainable quotas to meet each month. Management needs to focus less on their numbers that are not always attainable due to warehouse problems, delivery damage, lack of quality control of the products they sell. Sales staff get commission only after the furniture is delivered successfully which many times doesn’t go very good.
Fix the warehouse and delivery problems before blaming salespeople for not making their drlivery numbers. See the domino effect which leads back to the sales staff that always gets the blame when other department fail to do their job.
