I bought a reclining Peyton couch in 2014. This is the second time in two years that the dye has started to come off the couch.

The first time it was on the backrest and it kept getting larger. This time it is on the arm of the chair. The first time Haverty's came out because it was within the year of purchase. The second time I called the warranty company (Guardsman), and they stated that they wouldn't come out because of the "time".

It is still under warranty. I am very disappointed in the quality of the sofa and in the fact the warranty company is not living up to its warranty.

Dye is coming off our Atlas leather sofas we puchased 7 months ago. Service guy said he could not repair it and our guardsman plan said the claim was denied telling us it was a vendor problem not theirs.

They would try to fix it at a cost.

Avoid buying any leather at havertys. Its as bad as cheap bonded leather and all are made in china.

Dye comes off all their leather sofas since they are all made in china. Cheap painted leather. Would not recommend Havertys to anyone.

What did you expect from the made in China garbage! Probably dyed leather by kids in sweat shops using paint brushes:

That isn't a dye issue: it's cheap leather (or leather by-product), like a veneer, that is peeling or worn off...
