This sectional SUCKS. That is the best way to sum it up. Looked great in the store, and at first okay at home - we purchased it about 4 years ago. Since day one we have fought the sections sliding apart even after adding rubber feet to grip our wood floors, the three sections just never stay in right place since none are connected in anyway. Havertys sales personnel salary is only commission and is contingent on the ability of Havertys to deliver the furniture to their customers. Many of the collections are always on back-order for months and a sales associate does not get paid until it is delivered and kept by the customer. Havertys has a 3 day return policy. A lot of Havertys furniture is the same cheap quality as Rooms to Go and Ashleys furniture. Our Bentley sectional we purchased was previously returned and sold as new furniture. We found used condoms and food remains in our new sectional. Our salesperson JR told us that the furniture was previously repaired at their warehouse before we got it and it was inspected prior to delivery to assure the repair was done. This company is a joke. My wife and I visited their brand new store in Charlottesville VA on Sunday and purchased a new sectional couch. The salesperson explained that we would be able to pick up the couch on Tuesday, from the store. We paid and everything seemed great. Will never buy again from Havertys. It is just my husband and I at home. Our 3 yr old couch has major problems that unfortunately started after the 1 year warranty. The seat cushions are hard as rocks. We were told they would soften with age but hsve not. When sitting on the couch you are pitched forward which appear to be from the frame and not the cushiond. I had a issue with a missed delivery and decided to therefore cancel my purchase. I went into the store and was rescheduled and promised, by the store manager Beth, a gift card for the inconvenience. It's now been over a month and and I've still not received the gift card. I've contacted the store and sales consultant several times yet the promise of the gift card has not been honored. You can't trust them! They will tell you one thing and then do another. There are too many other fine places to shop for your furniture needs. Don't put yourself through the "Havertys' Hassle." Deal with a reputable company and one that wants to build a long term relationship with you as a customer. At Havertys, they only care about today's dollar. They act like they care about you as a customer but only as long as you are in their store... Read more

Purchased dura blend sofa and loveseat. 1 cushion has started to peel and flake Have extended warranty /called customer service they responded normal wear n tear. Only had for 3 years.. Called warrarty company have not received return call. What pissed me off is that customer service rep at store basically made decision. Asked for pictures after she made decision.

We needed to purchase 4 rooms of furniture. The sales lady told us about the commentary interior designer. We met with the designer and gave our budget of what we can spend and our likes and dislikes. She did an awesome job picking out furniture and accessories.
