I purchased (paid in cash, via debit card) 6 dining room chairs and a two piece china cabinet. When it was delivered, it was raining and they did not cover up the top part of the cabinet and it came in wet.

Cannot get with glass clean. I called to ask for a return today for the entire order since the whole set is way too big and I wanted to exchange for a smaller set. I was put on hold for ever and they flat out refused because it was pass their '3 day return' policy. Needless to say, I am not very happy, feel like I wasted 2.5k and they were heartless and they lost any future purchases from myself.

I would caution anyone who is thinking about buying furniture from Haverty's, the products are not that well made (the sofa I had also purchased is rather cheap looking) and they refuse to work with someone. I thought the customer service was rather not about how to solve problems, but I only heard about the 'company's policy'. That is not a good way to build good will. I will never set foot inside another of their stores.
