I ordered office furniture from Haverty's one month ago. Had furniture delivered and it needed repairs. Scheduled a service call. They came out and couldn't fixed the furniture. Had the file cabinet replaced. The books cases now needed repair. Called for another visit. They came out and within 5 minutes said he could not repair it alone and needed another guy to help. Once again scheduled another service. Both repairmen came out and once again could not fix the furniture. Now will have to have the middle bookcase replaced and another delivery date set up. Five visits later, the furniture is still not correct. Customer Service supervisors are worthless. I will never buy furniture from them again and will be reporting them to the BBB. I'm sure they won't compensate me for the inconvenience they are causing me and my office. I will have taken 6 vacation days out of my schedule to accommodate their poor customer service. When I buy so call "qualilty" furniture, I expect it to be perfect upon delivery. I will be telling friends and family to not buy from them.

Havertys Corporate Information

"A table for dining, a chair to recline in -- Haverty Furniture Companies fills the bill. Better known as Havertys, the company sells its own brand of furniture (launched 2000) as well as name-brand home furnishings and accessories in the middle to upper-middle price range. Private-label Havertys Collections and Havertys..."

This is all BULL! They only did this so you the consumer can't go out and buy the same thing at a lower cost else where! They make nothing! They only ask the vendor to put their name on the furniture. I know, I worked for one of their vendors. Don't tell no one, but the vendors name is HOOKER.

Haverty's has slipped alot on thier quality when they started branding their own line of furniture in 2004. I worked for them up to mid 2005 and - honestly - was tired of hearing from customers about paying for quality and receiving less-than-quality. I recently visited a showroom in Texas and found that they have not improved.
