I purchased a mattress set last Saturday, paid by check, only to then be told they did not have it in stock. Delivery was to be today (a week later - Saturday). only to be told the delivery time would be two hours later, then received a call later in the day to say that truck was packed incorrectly and I would not be receiving my mattress set. Bought a sectional sofa and when it was delivered it didn't attach so I asked our sales person and he said they must have forgotten to do it and sent sone one out to fix it. A wasted trip later and missed time from work he said this sofa does not attach.... Got a sorry from the store and a few rubber stops and told to buy a rug so it does not slide..... I purchased the Vogue Cracked Glass table only and the base does not support the heavy glass, someone came out three times to no avail. After two weeks, I had to request a refund on this table. Waste of time and money!!!!! Add comment

Purchased Galaxy light gray leather sofa, chair, ottoman. First sofa had a noticeable indention on the bottom; first chair had a large indention on the inside of the left arm. Purchased the Montana leather living room set in 2010 with the Guardsman protection. We were convinced by the sales person that Guardsman stood behind Haverty's products and it was the best way to protect our $7k investment. Boy were we scammed! All back ordered items need to be clearly labeled with a big highlighter green tag so customers can know ahead of time before getting hearts set on them. I am so angry about the "Vintage Autumn" sofa set which I fell in love with and then being told as I'm paying for them at checkout that they are all back ordered until 2 months down the line. I went into Havertys expecting high quality furniture especially for the high price of some of their items. I ended up buying the complete Galaxy sectional in Teak color and the Tatiana sofa table. I absolutely fell in love and was willing to pay a little more for the furniture as long as the furniture was worth it, which I think it is, at least for now, because I have only had part of the items... We have spent over 5000 dollars for a Bernhardt bedroom set. The dresser is great and exactly what we saw in showroom. The leather headboard is terrible and they say they are going to satisfy us but have not as of yet I am very upset and feel as if we have been taken this has gone on for months. I purchase an 1800 dollars bed ; 2 lamps. Return 1 of the lamps on friday & still haven't gotten my money credit back to my account.
