I purchased a cotton/linen recliner from Haverty's in Columbia, SC in July, 2014 because of a health issue with my leather recliner. It was a $1200 dollar chair on "sale" for $800 dollars. What a deal!! Within six months the back of the seat began deteriorating, and the fabric began to sag down to the seat. I purchased four chairs, a sectional, and some accent pillows for our sectional four months ago. I spent $100.00 each for four pillow. After four months the pillows had completely flattened and the feathers were poking thru so much that we can't use them. I returned them to the store in Coral Springs, FL, they were purchased in Ft. lauderdale, and was told by the Branch Manager that they would not exchange them. Im very disappointed with this company I purchased a reclining sofas set, supposedly leather material, lies is something else not LEATHER on 2 years that material start looking very bad it was brown color now is beige spot on the couches. Call the company they very irresponsible i bought it a insurance and don not cover anything after you pay off the furniture. Add comment

We bought two leather chairs from Havertys at $900 a piece and took the gold protection plan at an additional $150 a piece. After a year, the leather started falling apart and crumbling. When we contacted the protection plan after one year they sent someone out, they took a picture and we were told they would contact us. They did contact us and said they couldn't do anything as we used the chair too much. We then went in person to Havertys and the manager, Worth Alcorn, said he would handle it. Lester Paul at the Alexandria Louisiana Havertys was great! He made the experience fun and easy. He rearranged the furniture and let us stage our living room in the store. We found almost everything we needed and absolutely love the furniture we picked out. I am so excited to get our furniture in. The salesman showed me the dates we could pick for the furniture to be delivered and we choose a date and are ready to get our new furniture and move into our house. I wish I would have search the reviews on this company but after being along time patron of this company and being pleased with their furniture over the years I didn't feel I needed to. But as for their top of the line Bentley Sectional they need to get rid of this item and stop selling them if this is their top of the line. We've had ours for less than 2 years and they are fading, problems with the padding and also spring issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this item. I bought a reclining Peyton couch in 2014. This is the second time in two years that the dye has started to come off the couch. The first time it was on the backrest and it kept getting larger. This time it is on the arm of the chair. The first time Haverty's came out because it was within the year of purchase. The second time I called the warranty company (Guardsman), and they stated that they wouldn't come out because of the "time". It is still under warranty. The custom chair had to send back because pockets of no filling $1200. Trade for sofa and chair plus $500 more in May 2015 and one month later . Another nightmare , no memory in cushions ,cushion slides off sofa while u are sitting on it, cover knots up . They sent me a non slide pad for a rug to under the cushions etc...... I am now trying to spend more money to fix the issue before throwing it away and taking the loss. It is that bad. Nobody can sit on the sofa . Dis-Honest and just BAD FOR BUSINESS. Still waiting on a refund, going on 3 weeks. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE.. Terrible delivery service. purchased entertainment wall for $ 3200, delivery scheduled 1-27, delivered two pieces damaged, they could not get delivery in until week later, needless to say did not have tv for super bowl party, have 65" inch tv sitting in living room with 3 dogs and kids. 3rd. piece got delivered still damaged, had to cancel decorator and tech to install tv and stereo system. CS said they would call me Thursday still nothing, now new piece scheduled for delivery Friday, still another week without tv, they did credit me $ 99 delivery fee, I think more... Read more
