We needed to purchase 4 rooms of furniture. The sales lady told us about the commentary interior designer. We met with the designer and gave our budget of what we can spend and our likes and dislikes. She did an awesome job picking out furniture and accessories. It was a pleasure working with her and also the sales lady. But here is the issue we have with the store. The price went over our budget and we had to eliminate some items. The sales... Read more

In 2004 bought leather sofa, chair and ottoman. had small issue with a spot on the chair, called, they sent out a tech who repaired it. In 2012 had issues with the springs, I turned the chair and sofa over and removed the bottoms. The springs were held cheaply in place by staples. I replaced the staples by wiring the springs in place. 12 years from purchase date the set is still in good condition. Dogs, children and adults have on a daily basis... Read more

So I've been job hunting for the past few months and I noticed that Havertys was hiring for sales associates. After doing an irrelevant questionaire, asking questions not even related to furniture or sales, I was told that I was not what they were looking for. I kinda was blown away....even laughed a little, because little did they know my experience level in this field! I have been in the furniture industry for over 14 years and have worked... Read more

They do not honor their warranty and Haverty's is not likely to help you either. We are having problems with our Bentley Sofa, 3500$ worth of junk. At first they came to address our problems, but as it fell apart more and more they started to deny claims, Now, Whenever we submit a claim, it is promptly denied. At first Haverty's "top shelf" customer service said they would help but after 2 more calls I have made over the last couple of weeks I... Read more

I purchased a sofa from Havertys aprox. 2.5 years ago. When I purchased the the piece I also purchased the Gaurdman gold protection plan to protect the sofa for 5 years. It's suppose to cover any stains, spills, tears, or rips that might happen during that time. The Havertys sales person will tell you it's so easy to do that your going to need it. DON'T DO IT!!! When I actually went to use it, it wasn't helpful at all. My dog had and accident on... Read more

I purchased a cotton/linen recliner from Haverty's in Columbia, SC in July, 2014 because of a health issue with my leather recliner. It was a $1200 dollar chair on "sale" for $800 dollars. What a deal!! Within six months the back of the seat began deteriorating, and the fabric began to sag down to the seat. I sat in it until six months ago at which time I started using the couch and watching tv sideways. I didn't want it to look any worse. I... Read more

I purchased four chairs, a sectional, and some accent pillows for our sectional four months ago. I spent $100.00 each for four pillow. After four months the pillows had completely flattened and the feathers were poking thru so much that we can't use them. I returned them to the store in Coral Springs, FL, they were purchased in Ft. lauderdale, and was told by the Branch Manager that they would not exchange them. These pillows were expensive,... We bought two leather chairs from Havertys at $900 a piece and took the gold protection plan at an additional $150 a piece. After a year, the leather started falling apart and crumbling. When we contacted the protection plan after one year they sent someone out, they took a picture and we were told they would contact us. They did contact us and said they couldn't do anything as we used the chair too much. We then went in person to... Read more
