All back ordered items need to be clearly labeled with a big highlighter green tag so customers can know ahead of time before getting hearts set on them. I went into Havertys expecting high quality furniture especially for the high price of some of their items. I ended up buying the complete Galaxy sectional in Teak color and the Tatiana sofa table. I absolutely fell in love and was willing to pay a little more for the furniture as long as the furniture was worth it, which I think it is, at least for now, because I have only had part of the items... We have spent over 5000 dollars for a Bernhardt bedroom set. The dresser is great and exactly what we saw in showroom. Haverty's advertises lies. And do not buy the Gold Guardsmen warranty. 4 years ago I purchased a burgundy leather sofa and two chairs. They have all faded. Guardsmen denied my claim and even though the tech came out and claimed it was a manufacturer defect. Now they will not replace. Be careful what you purchase from them
Purchased a formal dining table with a very dark finish. It is beautiful, however, after I put plastic placemats on it, the wood bubbled! It's only noticeable to us, but it's strange. I'm calling the warranty people tomorrow. Have had it less than a year.
